Subsurface 2017

Pittsburgh, PA

Fall 2017

A series of projection pieces for the Subsurface 2017 interdisciplinary sight and sound installation event in the former Kaylor 3 limestone mine.

Three projection works imitate patterns formed in agate stones. The sliced limestone wall reveals moving images of deconstructed, compressed, and warped landscapes which shift in slow rhythms to complement the changing experimental sound space.
